Not a trading desk. Not a rented line. This is where your lanterns take shape, every photograph on this page was taken inside our own production base.

Six stages,
photographed in-house

Your lanterns move through the same controlled chain as every build that leaves this floor, from scaled drawing to finished surface, under one roof and one quality standard. The same six stages are written up in detail in from steel frame to opening night, including what happens at each handoff and why the sequence is fixed.

The floor is one half of the offer. What we take on around it, from design and engineering to shipping, installation and on-site support, is set out in our services, and the results are documented in delivered projects.

Stage 01Lantern construction drawing and digital design process on tablet

Technical Drawing

Every figure starts as a scaled construction drawing that maps the steel frame, proportions and installation points before any metal is cut.

Stage 02Candy and dessert lantern festival design rendering with ice cream sculpture and rabbit

Digital Design

Designs become digital renders and visualisations, giving you a clear preview of scale, colour and atmosphere before production begins.

Stage 03Lantern steel frame welding process for horse head sculpture

Steel Welding

Skilled welders bend and weld galvanised steel into the underlying skeleton, building the shape and strength that supports every detail.

Stage 04Lantern figure steel wire frame shaping of classical dancer

Sculpture Forming

Finer wirework and structural shaping complete the figure, ensuring accurate proportions and safe load distribution for transport and install.

Stage 05Lantern figure fabric covering white body stage before painting

Fabric Covering

Fire-rated fabrics are hand-stretched, stitched and layered over the frame, creating the smooth, luminous surfaces that define the final piece.

Stage 06Lantern figure hand-painted blue dress finished artwork

Art Treatment

Final colour treatment, facial detail and hand-painted finishes bring the figure to life, locking in the exact character you approved.

02The Floor

Where the sparks
and silk meet

Welding bays, fabric stations and paint areas share one continuous floor, so nothing waits in a subcontractor's queue.

03Why It Matters

In-house means
accountable

Many suppliers outsource the hard stages, welding, electrical fit-out, painting, to unknown workshops. When the chain breaks, nobody owns the delay. We keep every stage under our own roof, so one team is answerable for quality, safety and your delivery date.

04Venue Types

One factory,
four kinds of venue

A night trail for a zoo, a winter walk for a botanical garden, a new nighttime land for a theme park and a civic festival for a city all leave the same floor, but they are planned differently, with their own routing, season window and engineering brief. Each venue type has its own page covering how we approach it and the proof from past builds: zoo lantern festivals, botanical garden light shows, theme park lanterns and city lantern festivals.
